09/02/10 vs. Southern Miss W, 41-13 Quarterback Stephen Garcia and freshman tailback Marcus Lattimore each ran for two touchdowns and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier won his 18th straight college opener.
09/11/10 vs. Georgia # W, 41-13 Marcus Lattimore rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Gamecocks (2-0, 1-0 Southeastern Conference) to a 17-6 victory. The Gamecocks are now ranked 13th in this week's Associated Press poll and 16th in the USA Today/Coaches poll, up 11 and nine spots respectively from their No. 24/25 positions of a week ago.
09/18/10 vs. Furman W, 38-19 Stephen Garcia threw for two touchdowns, freshman Marcus Lattimore rushed for one and South Carolina won 38-19, improving to 3-0 for the first time in three years.
09/25/10 at Auburn # L, 35-27 Auburn forced four fourth-quarter turnovers to pull off another come-from-behind victory, 35-27, after being behind 20-7.
10/09/10 vs. Alabama # W, 35-21 After delivering South Carolina's biggest win ever, all coach Steve Spurrier could do was smile. Stephen Garcia threw three touchdown passes, two to Alshon Jeffrey, and Marcus Lattimore scored three times as 19th-ranked South Carolina stunned No. 1 Alabama 35-21 on Saturday. Never before had the Gamecocks beaten a team ranked No. 1 -- at least not in football. So Spurrier had plenty of reason to bask in one of the biggest victories of his illustrious career.
10/16/10 at Kentucky # L, 31-28 Kentucky's Randall Cobb caught a 24-yard touchdown pass with 1:15 remaining then added the two-point conversion to cap a furious second-half rally and give Wildcats a stunning 31-28 victory.
10/23/10 at Vanderbilt # W, 21-7 Brian Maddox rushed for a career-high 146 yards and the game-clinching touchdown to lead No. 19 South Carolina to a difficult 21-7 win over Vanderbilt, giving Steve Spurrier his 40th victory with the Gamecocks.
10/30/10 vs. Tennessee # W, 38-24 Alshon Jeffery had a 70-yard touchdown catch to help No. 17 South Carolina escape a Tennessee comeback and remain in control of the SEC East.
11/06/10 vs. Arkansas # L, 41-20 Ryan Mallett threw for 303 yards, Knile Davis tied a career high with three touchdowns and No. 17 Arkansas handed 18th-ranked South Carolina its worst home loss in five years
11/13/10 at Florida # W, 36-14 Marcus Lattimore rushed 40 times for 212 yards with 3 TDs to help South Carolina clinch the SEC East Divsion for the first time in school history.
11/20/10 vs. Troy W, 69-24 Marcus Lattimore had three touchdowns and 102 yards rushing by halftime to lead the 17th-ranked Gamecocks to a 69-24 victory, its biggest point total under Steve Spurrier and the most it has scored in 15 years.
11/27/10 at Clemson W, 29-7 Stephen Garcia threw for two touchdowns, Alshon Jeffery had his seventh 100-yard receiving game and the Gamecoks posted its third nine-win season with a victory over rival Clemson. The Gamecocks (9-3) have won nine games twice before in 117 seasons of football, going 10-2 in 1984 and 9-3 in 2001.
SEC Championship
12/4/10 vs. Auburn L, 56-17 Auburn QB Cam Newton passed for a career-high 335 yards and four touchdowns, plus ran for a pair of TDs in an MVP performance.

"You can't tackle him," South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier,who was denied his seventh SEC title, told AP. "He's almost a one-man show but those guys really help and their receivers are really good. With that offensive line and him, it's hard to stop him."

Chick-Fil-A Bowl
12/31/10 vs. Florida State L,26-17 Florida State forced five South Carolina turnovers and knocked star freshman running back Marcus Lattimore out of the game early during the Seminoles' 26-17 victory in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. The victory gives Florida State (10-4) a 10-win season for the first time since 2003. Gamecocks quarterback Stephen Garcia threw three first-half interceptions. .
